Control Room
See who needs a callback, from your phone
HVAC Uptime tells you what came in, what was missed, what was recovered, and what needs action now.
Included in Uptime Core. Between jobs, it shows who is waiting for a callback and which inquiries are still open. It is also where you confirm finished jobs and manage your account, including cancelling.
WHAT IT ANSWERS, IN THIS ORDER
- What needs you now. Urgent exceptions, callbacks due, and inquiries nobody has resolved.
- Which missed calls got a follow-up, and when. Separately, which of those callers came back: a reply, an answered call or a booking.
- What came in and what was missed. Each call and inquiry it handled, with its status and its next step.
- The history, when you want it. Deeper records, reporting and settings, on a desktop.
What you do with it
On your phone between jobs, on a desktop at the end of the day
Callbacks and open inquiries don't wait until you're at a desk, so the day-to-day works on a phone. A desktop shows the full history.
- On your phone
- Missed calls, inquiries not yet followed up, callbacks due, urgent exceptions and after-hours calls. Tap to call back, update a status, or confirm a finished job.
- On a desktop
- The full history, settings, your team and your account, and reporting, for when you want the whole picture.
What each record means
One fact per record, never one standing in for another
A follow-up that was sent and a customer who came back are two different things, and the Control Room shows them apart.
- A follow-up was sent
- An action was attempted. It says nothing about what came of it.
- The customer came back
- A reply or a return call happened.
- An appointment was booked
- A slot was confirmed, not just a request captured.
- The job was marked complete
- An authorized person confirmed the work is done.
A scheduled end time does not establish that the job was done. Only the confirmation does, and that is what a review request waits for.
Notifications
Alerts only when a person is needed
Routine activity waits in the Control Room for when you want to look. Notifications cover three things.
-
A decision only a person can make
Something that needs an urgent decision from you or your team.
-
A valuable inquiry nobody has resolved
A customer not replying to one message is not an alert. An inquiry that matters and is still open is.
-
Something that broke
An automation that fails is flagged, so someone can act on it.
